WHO WE ARE

As of November 13, Marikina City was declared under a state of calamity after the rampage of Typhoon Ulysses. The Marikina River water level rose to 22 meters last Thursday, November 12, surpassing the 21.5-meter level during Tropical Storm Ondoy back in 2009. Because of this, a number of families have been affected and displaced as most areas were submerged in floodwater brought by the typhoon.

To help rebuild the lives of the affected, graduates from Marikina Science Junior High School Batch 2016 made project Luntian to help students, alumni, and other members of the MariSci community affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
